Transmitter and receiver circuit

RF Transmitter And Receiver Circuit
RF Transmitter And Receiver Circuit

RF transmitter and receiver circuit on a pcb. This is a simple inductor based circuit which you can build easily.

This is a wireless project  using RF signal technology.

Here i will show how to make RF transmitter and receiver. This is a basic RF transmitter and receiver circuit to control a led wirelessly.

We have discussed how to make RF transmitters and receivers without inductor coil earlier. The range is very low in that project.

But this project uses an inductor and much effecient than early circuit. The range of the project is significantly increased as we modified parts on both sides

Everyones dream in electronics is to sent a signal wirelessly by ourown. But its very hard to make ourown. Here i can help you by implementing a new approch in terms of electronics. Yes you wont fail in building such a one. As the direct circuit diagram is already in front of you. So you dont need to look at the circuit diagram.

Components Used :

T1 - Transistor - Bd 139

R1 - Resistor - 2.2 ohms

R2 - Resistor  - 12 kiloohms

C1 - Capacitor - 100 pf

C2 - Capacitor - 10 pf

S1 - Switch - Reset / Restart / Micro switch

L1 - Inductor - 5 turns on a 4 mm screw          driver

Inductor Winding :

Inductor winding is very easy. Use a normal single core wire with a length.I use a normal AC line tester(screw driver) to wind the wire. Dont worry about length only how many turns matters here. If you are curious about length of wire you can take it as a 5 centimeters. The image is shown below.

Antenna wire :

In the above figure the transmitter pcb is having an antenna which is spiral in shape. It is not mandatory that the wire should be like spiral / inductor winding in shape. We can use a straight long wire of 15 centimeters  length instead.

Power Supply :

The supply voltage given to the circuit is 9 volt.We can increase voltage upto 12 volt.

The positive supply is given at S1 and negative is given to R1 and C2 joining point.

IC - Integrated Circuit - Lm 358

R1 - Resistor - 1 kilo ohms

R2 - Resistor - 22 kilo ohms

Radio Diode - 1n 34

Led - Red Color

Antenna wire :

In the above figure the receiver pcb is having an antenna which is spiral in shape. It is not mandatory that the wire should be like spiral / inductor winding like in shape. We can use a straight wire of 15 centimeters  length here also.

How To Increase Range Of Transmitter ? :

This is a question offenly asked to me. By increasing the length of antenna we can increase the range a little bit. Another way is to increase the voltage to 12 volts.

The alternate way is to modify the circuit with a transistor, which we will discuss later. For this time this is the basic circuit for transmitting and receiving a data wirelessly.
